What would you like to do on The Kauri Coast

Tell us what you would like to do. What would you like to do around here.

You will probably arrive sometime during the afternoon. Have a cup of tea or coffee with us then start to wind down after your  days activities. You might like to enjoy an evening meal with us and plenty of cheerful conversation. Or you could choose to go out to one of the restarants in Dargaville or Baylys Beach.

Next day we can take you for a trip along to the coast farm. Have a look at what’s happening there. Watch the dogs move some stock. Drive up tank hill to check out the  panoramic scenery, then move on around to the beach track. From there it’s a short walk down to the beach.

You will probably be thrilled and content at being on such a long stretch of beach and hopefully hardly another sole on it. Can’t really say what conditions at the beach will be like, every day it’s different. It’s one of the attractions of going to the beach. Every day the mood changes. What do you think.  

On a good day we should be able to see the Mauganui Bluff in the distance.Some of you might like to take a horse trek. Some of you might like to spend a relaxing day at the Kai Iwi Lakes. Some could go out at night to see a Kiwi at the Trounson Kauri Park.
